Teaching/Research

I teach courses in language methodology, second language acquisition, computer-assisted language learning and Spanish as a second language. My research is rooted in the relationship between language and the constructed environment whether that be physical, virtual or hybrid. Within this central focus, my specific interests lie in the areas of learning space design, place semiotics and technology-enhanced language learning and teaching.
